Imagine what you could do in one year!
If you focused on a passion, career, relationship, anything; what could you do if you gave it all you have for one year? Things can change in one second, one minute, one hour, one day, one week…. You get it. Take the time to commit to being outside of your comfort zone and embark on your journey. We all have personal goals in the back of our minds that keep getting pushed back deeper and deeper. Take this time, write them down, and bring them into your life. In one year, I believe that you will be where you want to be and then some. This is a challenge I am making to myself and I am very curious, anxious and excited to start this journey. Make a commitment and see what you can do. The clock is ticking! Tomorrow you only have 364 days left to achieve your goal. Good Luck and be awesome! Ken

During the initial phases of my business career it seemed as though the most successful were the biggest jerks. (we all the know the types) That in order to rise to the top that you need to be an arrogant know it all that had all the answers. It was very intimidating, demeaning, but somewhat interesting. What I learned is that many of them had the least self-esteem, no real friends and were ultimately suffering the worst. They didn’t feel the need to apply the principles of
Wouldn’t it be much more fun and easier to treat your coworkers and customers with respect? Be able to provide common courtesy? Teach others how win and not keep everything for yourself? This is how winning teams and cultures are made- create a no A**Hole culture and believe me you and your business will thrive! – Ken Fear!
(unless you are willing to embrace it) That is the number one reason. When most of us are kids we say we are going to be a Ski Guide, Coach, Teacher, Dr., Lawyer or CEO, but what percentage of the population actually becomes who they dreamed about? Very minimal. We have become content, to make just enough, and watch too much TV, rather than working to achieve our dreams. Have you ever noticed those that land the dream jobs, spent countless hours going after them; often times working for free or minimum wage, they had the belief that they will reach their goal, they were willing to sacrifice, eat PB&J and put their head down. (most of us won’t do that) They didn’t let others influence them or take the easy way out, they committed, stayed focused and worked their asses off towards the goal. Did you do that? Or did you become content, mediocre, and just skate by. If you did and enjoy it, good for you, but if you are asking how do I get my dream job, you have to be willing to lay it on the line, become friends with your fear and push through when no one else believes. It is a very simple concept, but not easy. Admit it, you let your fear get in the way, because fear of the unknown if much scarier than comfort in the present. (remember great things don’t come from comfort zones) So start your podcast, build your site, create your tribe…. Because what you do for work, is not who you are, create you, and create your dream job. Ken [email protected] |
